The Third in my Wheel of the Year Junk Journals have been completed. This time it is YULE and I was inspired by products from 

GYPSY CRAFTERY

Yule is all about Winter to me and with that it summons up visions in blue and of winter and the full moon. I am so pleased with these books and the fact that each book comes with a blank book to write recipies, spells or draw in it makes it just that much more fun.

FIRST IN THE WHEEL OF THE YEAR JUNK JOURNALS...................Beltane

 

So a few months ago I was introduced to a shop on Etsy that had the most breathtaking junk journal kits, the shop is called GYPSY CRAFTERY and I bought a few kits. as I started looking at them I thought it would be fun to do a collection of Junk Journals based on the Wiccan Wheel of the year. The first one I did was BELTANE. To me Beltane represents spring and the color green so I created this book. I invite everyone to visit my Etsy shop at

BRING ON THE STARDUST

 

So this week my project was inspired by the Junk journal kit "Stardust" by GECKO GALZ. Along with some Luna Paste in White and a wonderful dangle for one of the rings I was inspired to build this amazing one of a kind Junk journal. In the Summer I find myself going out and star gazing, it is something that dates back to when I was a child.

STEP INTO THE FAIRY REALM

 

So this week we are stepping into the fairy realm with this altered composition book Journal/Notebook. I am a huge fan of fairy art and this piece I go from a shop on Etsy called 

AMY JOY STUDIOS

now here is the thing if you are coloring nut like me these also come in coloring page formats!!!! I purchased both because all the images are dreamy!

OCEAN BLUE JUNK JOURNAL

 

So for this week I was inspired to do a mermaid junk journal, and what do you ask inspired this book? Well it was the amazing wooden pieces I found at JoAnn's and the kit by Gecko Galz. You cant think of summer without thinking of Mermaids and the ocean and fishes so that is what inspired this 6"x6" 16 page book. It is full of dreamy images and tuck spots and so much more!

HABERDASHERY JUNK JOURNAL

 

So this week my craft of the week is the Haberdashery Junk journal I created inspired by images from Gecko Galz and their challenge. It is almost Fathers day and I thought I would try to inspire everyone to do their own Junk journal...with all the tuck spaces you can hide gift cards and cash and photos of your day. These books end up being great items to pass down from Generation to Generation.
