Lets Get a Little Whimsical with our Stamping

Hi Everyone!

Well as the clock ticks down and it gets ever closer to the month of October I started looking through my stamps and found I own quite a few arty funky stamps by some amazing artist like Lynne Parrella and Diana Wakely so I thought it would be fun to do some greeting cards using these stamps and came up with just a few and thought I would share them with you.

BEAUTIFUL DREAMER CARD
by
Leanne Seed

For all my cards I stuck with primary colors to give it a circus kind of feeling. For this card I used my ink blending tool to add color to my stamped area and streaked on distress inks in Wild Honey, Festive Berries, and Lemonaid then added just a touch of stickles to the famed area.

BEAUTIFUL GIRL CARD
by
Leanne Seed

For this card I painted in the stamp with water color pencils then went back over the areas of her dress using diffrent color Stickles. I also used multiple color inks on a cup cake doillie using my blending tool and with the back ground paper created pockets for colorful tags to slip into.

FLOWER POWER CARD
by
Leanne Seed

With this one I filled in the stamp area with water color pencil and placed a paper flower behind her head to create a great halo effect. I cheated a bit when it came to the green scallop piece and used one of the flat scallop card toppers I purchased at Archivers.

TIME TO SMILE CARD
by
Leanne Seed

So everyone needs a card that will make them smile and when I saw this little clock man I knew I had to use him on this card. I stamped him in the center of an oval frame stamp then swiped on diffrent colors by Distress ink (peacock, spiced marmalade and wild honey) and again I used a pre scalloped card topper I got at Archivers but you can use a die cut or punch just as well. Then I finished it with a bit of May Arts Ribbon.

All these stamps can be obtained through the Stampington Shop Online.
So let your inner child come out and play and create something whimsical for yourself!

A Little Halloween Magic

Hi Everyone!

I am gearing up to go forth and make my way to San Antonio next weekend for my Halloween classes at Stamp Antonio Arts and I thought I would share with you the cards I will be teaching. I love Halloween next to Christmas it is my favorite holiday because there is so much you can create to celebrate. So for these cards I used Gecko Galz Midnight Hour digital Stamp set and a bit of other fun products to create them. I hope you enjoy them and please feel free to leave a comment I love knowing what you all think!

HAPPY HAUNTING CARD

For this card I used Bo Bunny paper for my background, A digital stamp by Gecko Galz, orange ribbon I got at Hobby Lobby, and fabric tape and buttons from my stash.

LITTLE WITCH

For this card I started with more of the Bo Bunny paper in orange, black card stock, the stamp image is from Gecko Galz, May arts ribbon, two decorative pins I got at Jo Annes, 4 brass brads from Jo Annes and copic markers to color her in. I Also distressed the background with grey chalk.

OH POE

Now for this card I A piece of Fancy Pants "Spring Fever" paper, a digital stamp from Gecko Galz, May Arts duel sided ribbon in orange and black, a Martha Stewart border puch and a star punch from Hobby Lobby, black bling and Distress inks in Vintage Photo and Wild Honey.

WICKED

Okay so I love the musical Wicked and every year I do a little omage to it and this year it was this fun little card. The background paper is by basic Grey, then I punched a circle out using a 2" Marvy circle punch in black cardstock, the image is a digital stamp from Gecko Galz and I used Distress ink in Peeled Paint to color in her face. The purple ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and the clear drop I got in the jewlery section of JoAnnes. I also used Radiant Rain ink along her edge and the card edge and finished it with green stickles.

THE RAVEN

I love this card! I started with a great piece of red and black paper then printed out the raven stamp from Gecko Galz and surrounded the image with crepe paper I pleated. I inked the edges of the image with red and black colorbox inks and added 4 black bling one in each corner.

WITCHING HOUR

I started by layering on a piece of cream linen texture card stock and distressing with Vintage Photo ink then a piece of green crackle paper by Paper Studio which I tore all 4 edges and inked. Next I printed this amazing image from Gecko Galz which I tore and distressed. The boo I created in photo shop and strung across with a festive piece of twine.

I hope you enjoyed my cards and if you have the chance and are in San Antonio next weekend come by and check out one of my classes
