JUNK JOURNAL TIME: Welcome To Fairy Land

 

So this junk journal was inspired by my art....I adore illustrating fairies and was excited to not only offer up a collage collection for Gecko Galz of my fairies but also created this book. I also worked with a new medium Luna Paste that created an amazing edge to the pages, but you have to love to get messy with this medium. It comes in amazing colors and when the light hits it shimmers with such beauty. Below are the tools I used to create the book in case you want to create your own junk journal.

Good Evening to all my followers

As you all know I am getting way into Junk journals and last week I completed my Jane Austen inspired journal. I love Jane Austens writings my favorite story is Emma....there is something about Mr. knightly....yes I am a Mr. Knightly person not a Mr. Darcy......but besides being intreged with her writing I love the regency period almost as much as the Victorian era. LEAVES ARE FALLING........amazing wall plaque

 

Good Morning to all my followers!

So as alot of you know I love going into placed like Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Joann's and going outside the paper craft area for a challenge to create something fun for that month.....this month was no exception. I went to my local Hobby Lobby and wandered through the Autumn decor and found this charming little plaque as well as these cute leaf buttons and with an addition of a Victorian lady from Gecko Galz I created this little plaque which I am going to give to someone who works on the front line as a RAK. I got to thinking if I took off the back cord and adhered a name to it it would make a charming place setting for Thanksgiving......I love creating pieces and am happy to share them with you here!
