WHATS NEW IN MY ETSY SHOP

So yesterday I went and did a small little craft fair and now I have the bug! What do I mean by this? well I had so much fun and realized just how much I miss doing them with my two besties Stephanie Jones and Cat Woody so I am looking at 2020 as a new year and a new start, I am looking to do more shows in and around Houston and Katy Texas and really work hard on my Etsy shop. So I thought I would share with you some of the new items I just put up (great little one of a kind gifts)

Oh what a lovely scrapbook shop!

So in this day of age of online shopping and big box stores it is a rare find to discover a independent run scrapbook store, but yesterday I did stumble onto a new shop in Spring Texas called Create 365. this little gem is hidden away in a quaint little shopping area called old town spring. The owner Amy Rachele is charming and welcoming and such a talent. Now as most of you know I am a Altered art artist and I have to say this is like a candy store for us full of vintage trims, trinkets and amazing papers. 
Here is the wonderful news about all this, I am thinking about going back into teaching again at her shop....so my question is would people do classes with me again....only time will tell. Below are some of the goodies I got there and I hope if you are in the Houston area you will visit her and her shop!

STEAMPUNK FUN WITH GECKO GALZ

This month with Gecko Galz we were asked to create a project inspired by steampunk and autumn and I came up with a few designs that I had fun creating!

My first design is a altered Notebook, my inspiration for fall is all the amazing colors of fall and I used Gecko Galz Journal topper kit and the Paris Dreams collage set. These little notebooks make great gifts for friends and family!

This fun little wall hanging incorporates Gecko Galz Time Flies collage set and the Miss Louise collage sheet and wonderful odds and ends from my stash. This kind of wall hanging is a great gift for people and you can leave the pocket empty so they can place their photos and trinkets inside.

And last but not least this fun little steampunk card was creted using Gecko Galz Steam Punk Jewels and papers from 7 gypsies and Graphics 45 as well as gears from Paper Studio.

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!

Good Morning My Followers!

So today I am excited to share with you my first Christmas card of the season and I have decided to show a Christmas card each week leading up to Christmas! I am also entering this design in the FAB AND FUNKY CHALLENGE; Christmas.

Now the inspiration for this card was the amazing image from Gecko Galz Winter Beauties Collage Set and then I added some pretty trim from my stash papers by Canvas Corp, pained corrugated board strip, and rustic metal stars from Hobby Lobby craft store. I had a blast creating this card and invite you to share your Christmas creations on the challenge!

A LITTLE BIT SPOOKY SHRINE

Good Morning All

Today I am sharing a little Halloween shrine I did using a mini printers tray that I found at a dollar store, some amazing Gecko Galz images, some fun resin pieces from Michaels craft store and a sprinkle of glitter. I fell in love  with this wooden cut out of witches legs and knew I wanted that to be my topper of my shrine so I sprayed that and the printer tray with Graphite colored glimmer mist by Tattered Angels then using purple stickles I did the skirt and boot cuffs. Then with Smooch inks in Pumpkin color (how fitting) I painted her stockings. Next I printed the images from Gecko Galz Frightfully Delightful Craft Kit to fit the back of each tray section. I inked the edges to give it a vintage feel then adhered then with glue. Next I tore the edges of the three saying and placed them on the outer edge and added Orange peel Stickles around the edges. Last I placed three whimsical resing pieces.
Now I am entering it in a challenge put on by THE FUNKY JUNKY BOUTIQUE BLOG; Treats Not Tricks Challenge!
