HIP HOP INTO EASTER

So this week is all about hopping into Easter as we gear up this Sunday to Spring Forward I thought it might be fun to hip hop into Easter with some amazing little cards I did using Gecko Galz new Easter products.
Also I am shareing some of my favorite little images that you can use for your own Easter creations.

HAPPY EASTER CARD

To create this card I used Gecko Galz Hip Hop Easter Collage Set, Paper Studios paper, Double Mates card stock in Desert Dune and red shimmer card stock, twine, decorative foam easter eggs (I got from my good friend Heather Hudson) and a decorative teal button. Just layer on the paper and the image with card stock. Then cut a 1" x 6.5" belly band that you will cut into two points on the right end and layer across card base. In Photoshop or Gimp create your word banner that reads HAPPY EASTER (I used GiGi font) tie hemp twine around card top 3 times and tie into knot. ad your sparkly easter eggs in left corner. and you are ready to give to your Love Bunny!

EASTER DREAMS CARD

To create this sweet little card I started with Gecko Galz Easter Children collage sheet then added Paper Studios gingham paper and My Minds Eye green dot paper I adhered them back to back and turned up the left corner and used a glue dot to adhere back. On the card base I glued a 6.5x5 pink card stock piece and stamped the word DREAM using brown ink (you can use any sentiment). then I adhered the gingham/dot paper on top of the pink. Next lay down a strip of double sided tape and I adhered a piece of pink ribbon then tied a bow using another piece and glued to left side of card. I sized the girl in photo shop to 4.5" tall and then cut her out and adhered her to top of ribbon strip on the right side of the card. Next I added a pearl button on folded area and a suger coated rose I got from Vintage Rose & Aster to the center of the bow. To finish add a bit of brown ink to cards edge and add a linner to envelope using the green dot paper.

LUCKY LITTLE DIGITAL STAMPS FOR YOU!

It is no surprise to everyone that I am obsessed with digital stamps, I love the fact that you can take them and manipulate them as well as make them what ever size you want to. DREAMS IN BLUE

I know alot of you are still covered in snow and ice but I thought it might be fun to inspire every one with a taste for spring....I love the color of the grass and sky in the spring...it is the most brilliant shades of blue and green like a fresh breath. And being that Gecko Galz is having their Spring Fling challenge this month (which if you have not checked it out do so they have AMAZING prizes) I thought it would be fun to do my own little taste of spring.

TEMPLATE TUESDAY....Lets Make A Pillow Box!

Hello all my Friends and Fellow crafters!

Okay so I am trying to think up new fun things I can offer all my followers and friends, that will inspire everyone to do amazing paper crafts in 2014. And I thought it might be fun to bring back TEMPLATE TUESDAY. So each month we will have a template Tuesday and offer a fun templates that you can use to create gift boxes and favors.
So my first template is one of my favorites the Pillow Box, this makes great favor boxes for parties, showers and gift cards. You can use your own favorite papers or the pre designed templates that you can find on Pintrest or Etsy. Add a bit of ribbon, raffia, tags and flowers and make them personalized for your theme.

Hello my friends and followers!

well we made it through the new year and now we are headed right for one of my favorite times of the year SPRING...I know...I know some of you are still burried under multiple feet of snow and Spring seems soooo far away but I thought today I would bring a wee bit of spring to you early with some beautiful free images from my private stash. MY WISH TO YOU IN 2014

Hello all my crafting friends

As we draw to the end of 2013 I have been reflecting on all the fun and creativity that has flowed through my blog and all the amazing new friends I have made here. I would like to wish all of you a happy, healthy and creative 2014 and invite you all back next year to discover what creative fun things I will be creating, pictures I will be sharing, and challenges I will be having. Happy new year to you all!

Now for the last images of this year, I dug through all my images and found some amazing fairy images to share as my last ones. I adore fairies, perhaps because it takes me back to my childhood when I beleived in fairies...magical and innocent!
