So this week Red Rubber Inspirations is doing a brand new challenge "More Precious than Pearls" and I thought it might be fun to dig out my Viva pearl pens and create a few cards. I LOVE these pens because you can do just the size you want based on how hard you squeeze the pen. And if you have not seen them before they are amazing and come in an array of colors.
Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's online and a multitude of online shops carry them and it is well worth the money investing in a white and cream color pen, it is one of my staples.
So I came up with three cards that I wanted to share with you that not only feature the pen but also amazing products from Gecko Galz and charming little flowers!
A DAY FOR ROSES CARD
for this card I used a Gecko Galz Image from their "Garden Treasures" Jewel It Set, Coordinations papers, EK Success punch, White Pearl Pen, Mini Roses from my stash, Teal seam binding ribbon, embossed paper from JoAnn's.
YOUR MY CUP OF TEA CARD
For this card I used Papers by K & Co and card stock by Coordinations, the image is from Gecko Galz "for the birds" collage set, Teal seam binding ribbon, mulberry paper roses in teal, manilla tag, Stamp sentiment, butterfly finding by Webster Pages, Cameo from my stash.
HELLO FRIEND CARD
for this card I used Coordinations yellow card stock, White pearl pen, Printed paper by Paper Pizzaz, Image from Gecko Galz "Spring beauties", Hello Friend stamp sentiment, yellow crochet trim from my stash and organza flowers with pearls from JoAnns.
I hope this inspires you to go get a pearl pen and start creating your very own cards with pearls!
Happy Crafting
